You will be staying on the first floor in a charming half of the house, with a marvelous balcony that looks out on the majestic Grimming.

Parking & Arrival
Arrival by Car
Coming from the direction of Munich:
Traveling on the A10, exit the autobahn at the "Knoten Ennstal" interchange and take the main road in the direction of Schladming. If there is a potential for traffic jams, avoid metropolitan Munich by driving via Passau to Liezen, then continue in the direction of Schladming. Our property lies roughly 26 kilometers east of Schladming on the way to Graz. Please note: A toll sticker as well as a warning vest are required if you wish to use the Austrian autobahns. The toll stickers can be purchased at various rest areas and gas stations. In some cases, you might have to pay additional tolls for passing through tunnels etc. Salzburg to the Thorbäck Gut is approx. 124 km and a 1 1/2-hour drive.
Coming from the direction of Vienna:
Drive on the A2 autobahn from Vienna in the direction of Salzburg/Villach. At the St. Michael interchange, continue towards Salzburg. At the Liezen exit, leave the autobahn and follow the "Ennstalbundesstrasse" (B 320) as far as the turn-off for Öblarn.
From Vienna to the Thorbäck Gut is approx. 260 km and a 3-hour drive.
Coming from the direction of Graz:
Travel on the A9 autobahn from Graz in the direction of Salzburg. At the Liezen exit, leave the autobahn and follow the "Ennstalbundesstrasse" (B 320) as far as the turn-off for Öblarn.
From Graz to the Thorbäck Gut is approx ca. 140 km and a 1 3/4-hour drive.

Arrival by Train
The Öblarn train station is just 400 meters from our Thorbäck Gut. At that point, you are just an easy 5-minute walk away via paved pathways.

Munich Airport is approx. 280 kilometers, Salzburg Airport 115 kilometers, Graz Airport 150 kilometers and Vienna roughly 270 kilometers from the Thorbäck Gut.
